THE HEAT
All Sweat Central classes are performed in a heated yoga room.
Original Hot Yoga classes are heated to 105°F with 40% humidity,
HIIT classes are 100°F, and Yin classes are 95°F.
Why do we heat the room? To help you!

Benefits of the Heat
Helps Your Flexibility
So many people think they can’t do yoga because they’re not flexible. But when muscles, fascia, and connective tissue are heated, they become more elastic and allow for greater range of motion, so you have more flexibility with less chance of injury.
Makes You Sweat
Sweat flushes out toxins and gives your skin a healthy glow. After just one month of hot yoga, your friends will be saying “Wow, your skin looks amazing!”
Builds Focus and Concentration
Doing yoga in the heats boosts your concentration and leads your mind to a one-pointed focus, which will last the rest of the day. The environment can be challenging, which strengthens your willpower, self-control, and development.
Burns Calories and Fat
The heat increases your heart rate, giving you a cardio workout that burns an average of 600 calories per 90-minute class. Warm muscles burn fat more effectively, and the heat speeds up the breakdown of glucose and fatty acids.
Improves Overall Health
The heat makes your blood thinner, which clears the circulatory system. The thymus gland’s output of T-cells, which fight infection, is multiplied 20-fold. Capillaries dilate in the heat, which delivers more oxygen to muscles, tissues, glands, and organs and helps remove waste products.
